MP: 20 kids admitted with bee sting in Burhanpur district

INDORE: As many as 20 children and two women sustained injuries after being stung by honeybees in a village in Burhanpur district of Madhya Pradesh , on Sunday.


The incident took place in Moti Mahal village when the bees attacked a crowd near a temple in the evening. Police suspect that the children might have thrown a stone at the bee hive , causing them to attack.

The victims were rushed to the district hospital, where condition of five children is reported critical and were referred to MY Hospital in Indore . Treating doctor Bhupendra Gaur told reporters that the injured children are aged between one-and-half years to 12 years.
