MPs worried over monkey 'terror'

NEW DELHI: BJP MP from Mathura , Hema Malini , raised the issue of violent attacks by monkeys in Vrindavan as she said they had lost their natural habitat. She said pilgrims feeding monkeys is adding to the problem.


She said the government must look at providing exclusive habitat to relocate them. LJP’s Chirag Paswan said monkey menace is a matter of concern for people staying in Lutyens’ zone in the national capital.

“Their terror is such that children cannot play in gardens located in Lutyens’ zone. People are forced to stay in homes,” he said.
