MS Dhoni gears up for IPL 2020; seen practicing in Ranchi

MS Dhoni has always been a cricketer with a staunch approach. Whenever anyone talks about match fitness the first name which comes to everyone’s mind is of the CSK skipper. He has always led Chennai from the front and taken the onus of any situation that arises in the match. Dhoni has always taken care of himself so as to remain fit before any match.

The great man has followed a strict routine in his career of which the whole cricketing fraternity is in awe off.

With IPL 2020 around the corner, Thala is set to mark his presence in the competitive cricket after the semi-final of last year’s World Cup which India lost to New Zealand. MS has always been a guiding force for CSK and with the great man around, the franchise will be eyeing nothing short of a title finish. He will be eager to respond to critics, who have been questioning his future, with his willow.

MS Dhoni hits nets at an indoor facility

As per the news in The New Indian Express, a Jharkhand State Cricket Association office-bearer claimed that Dhoni has started gearing up for the IPL 2020 by availing indoor facilities of JSCA. “He visited the JSCA International Stadium Complex last week. He practiced at the indoor facility using bowling machine,” the official told.

The office-bearer also said that MS did come for practice over the weekend but he is not aware of the great man’s plans. “He did batting practice for two days over the weekend but has not returned since. I honestly don’t know what are his plans or whether he will come back for training. We only know he has visited the facility for practice,” the official added.

Dhoni, since the inception of IPL in 2008, has led the CSK team to playoffs in every season they have played. He has always been the welcoming captain for his players. Earlier, the great man had also put forth massive changes for the betterment of the Indian team. He brought the importance of fitness in players’ minds so as to make the Indian team-best fielding unit in the world.

Meanwhile, IPL 2020 is set to set to lit up the gulf cities, with the cash-rich league scheduled to take place in UAE from 19th September to 1oth November.
