Mumbai: Brace for harbour line megablock on Sunday

MUMBAI: There will be a rail block on the Kurla-Vashi Up and Down harbour lines from 11.10am to 3.40pm on Sunday and this could inconvenience to commuters.


All Down harbour line services departing from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CST) to Vashi / Belapur / Panvel from 10.34am to 3.08pm and all Up harbour line services departing from Panvel / Belapur / Vashi towards CST from 10.21am to 3.00pm will remain cancelled.

However, special services will be run during the block period on Panvel-Vashi and Kurla-CST sections.

Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via main line and trans-harbour line from 10am to 4.30pm, an official said.

On the main line, there will be a rail block on Thane-Kalyan Down slow line from 10.30am to 4pm.
