During this time, 4.33 meters high waves are rising. 34 roads have been closed due to floods in Kolhapur due to rain. It also includes 9 state highways.

At the same time, 16 NDRF teams have been deployed in Maharashtra to deal with any situation arising due to rain. 5 of these are posted in Mumbai. Apart from this, 4 teams have been deployed in Kolhapur, 2 teams in Sangli and 1 each in Satara, Thane, Palghar, Nagpur and Raigad.
