With this, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that heavy rain will continue in Mumbai and its surrounding areas till Thursday morning. High tide occurred in the sea at noon. During this time, 4.33 meters high waves are rising. 34 roads have been closed due to floods in Kolhapur due to rain. It also includes 9 state highways.

Due to high tide, dangerous waves have started to rise in the sea. With high tides, there is strong winds and heavy rain. Due to high tide, there is tremendous movement in the sea. High and dangerous waves are rising.

At the same time, 16 NDRF teams have been deployed in Maharashtra to deal with any situation arising due to rain. 5 of these are posted in Mumbai. Apart from this, 4 teams have been deployed in Kolhapur, 2 teams in Sangli and 1 each in Satara, Thane, Palghar, Nagpur and Raigad.
