Nagpur, Nov 22 (Reuters) – The prices of castor and coconut KP oils today tumble in the Vidarbha region of Western Maharashtra largely in tandem with weakening prices in producing belts. Trading sentiment turned bearish after release of stock from stockists. Trading activity in other edible oils reported weak as no trader was in mood for any commitment because of downward trend in American soya digam prices.

Continuous fall in soyabean oil on NCDEX also affected sentiment, sources said Friday. . ***** VIDARBHA MARKETS OILS * Soyabean, cottonseed, groundnut loose, groundnut refined, sunflower refined, linseed and rapeseed oil ruled steady here in sluggish trading activity. * Traders expect nearly steady trend in major edible and non-edible oils here. SOYMEAL * Soymeal prices today ruled steady here but demand was poor. SOYABEAN * Soyabean prices reported strong in Nagpur Agriculture Produce Marketing Committee (APMC) on increased demand from local crushing plants amid tight supply from producing belts. Healthy rise in Madhya Pradesh soyabean prices and reported demand from South-based plants also boosted prices here. About 3,000 soyabean bags reported for auction in Nagpur APMC, according to sources.
