Hyderabad: City-based building and construction materials manufacturer NCL Industries Ltd on Friday said it has set up a greenfield facility to manufacture premium doors at Malkapur, Choutuppal, on Hyderabad’s outskirts at an investment of Rs 50 crore.

The facility, which is spread over 2 lakh sft and has an installed capacity to make 1,000 doors in a single shift, has been set up in technical collaboration with Turkish player AGT with an eye on the Rs 15,000 crore Indian doors and windows market.

According to NCL Industries CFO NGVSG Prasad, the capacity utilisation of the plant is expected to be 10% in the initial year and increase to 75% over the next 4-5 years with a turnover of Rs 200 crore.

NCL, which has a presence in cement, cement bonded particle boards, ready mix concrete, spray plasters, paints, AAC blocks, colour coated steel profiles for doors and windows as well as uPVC windows, said it is eyeing the Rs 15,000 doors and windows market in India with its new foray.
