New weekly Margao to Mumbai train

Margao: The Railway Board has decided to introduce new weekly AC double decker express between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Margao from June 15, a press note by Konkan Railway states.

The 11099 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus - Margao double decker express will leave from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 1.10am every Saturday and reach Margao at 1pm the same day.

The 11100 Margao-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus double decker express will leave from Margao at 11.30 am every Sunday and reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 11.55pm the same day.

The train will halt at Thane, Panvel, Khed, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim and Karmali station.

Due to the introduction of the new double decker express, the frequency of 11085/11086 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus - Margao - Lokmanya Tilak (T) AC double decker express has been reduced from tri-weekly to bi-weekly.

Booking for Train No 11099 Lokmanya Tilak (T) – Margao has already been opened and the booking for Train No 11100 Madgaon Jn - Lokmanya Tilak (T) will open on March 4 at all Passenger Reservation System (PRS) and through internet, states the release.

Passengers have also been requested to take note of the change the days of service of Train No 22119/22120 Mumbai CSMT - Karmali – Mumbai CSMT Tejas Express from June 11.
