Animal Teaser OUT! Ranbir Kapoor's Gritty Gangster Persona Teases an Intense Journey Ahead - WATCH

The much-anticipated teaser for " Animal " has been unveiled, promising audiences an intense cinematic experience. Released on the occasion of Ranbir Kapoor 's birthday, the teaser showcases Kapoor in a powerful role, collaborating for the first time with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga . Alongside Kapoor, the film features a stellar cast including Rashmika Mandanna , Anil Kapoor , and Bobby Deol . "Animal" marks Kapoor's second release of the year, following "Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar," and Sandeep Reddy Vanga's second foray into Bollywood after the blockbuster " Kabir Singh ."

Film Teaser Unveils Ranbir Kapoor's Intense Role:

In the teaser, Ranbir Kapoor takes center stage, portraying a character who endures both emotional and physical abuse from his father, yet remarkably seeks validation from him. Rather than harboring resentment, Kapoor's character defends his father. As the teaser unfolds, it becomes evident that this troubled upbringing steers Kapoor's character towards a life of crime as he confronts the formidable Bobby Deol, referred to as 'Lord' in the film.

Release Date Postponed to Enhance Quality:

Originally slated for an August release, "Animal" was set to go head-to-head with other major films like Sunny Deol's "Gadar 2," Akshay Kumar's "OMG 2," and Rajinikanth's "Jailer." However, the film's director, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, made the decision to delay the release to December due to incomplete post-production work.

Explaining the decision, Vanga stated, “Why we are not able to release the film on August 11? The only reason is the quality. It might sound like a generic answer, generic reply but the fact is only quality… For example, there are seven songs in the film, when seven songs multiply into five languages it becomes 35 songs. 35 songs, different set of lyricists, different set of singers, it’s going to take a little more time than what I actually planned for."

He also expressed gratitude for the response to the pre-teaser released in July, assuring fans that the intense scenes featured in it will indeed be part of the final film. The pre-teaser showcased Ranbir Kapoor in a never-before-seen avatar, immersed in action sequences and covered in blood, hinting at a remarkable transformation for the actor in "Animal."

As fans eagerly await the December 1 release of "Animal," the film's teaser has certainly set the stage for a gripping and emotionally charged cinematic journey led by Ranbir Kapoor and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
