Bigg Boss OTT 3 Stays On Track: Salman Khan to Resume Hosting Duties Despite Shooting Incident

Reports suggesting the cancellation of Bigg Boss OTT 3 have been clarified amidst the confusion. The popular X handle 'The Khabri' recently stated that these reports are false. According to the latest update, the reality show is expected to premiere in the first week of June.

Salman Khan is set to resume his role as host of the show despite the recent firing incident. Last week, the production house behind Bigg Boss , Endemol Shine India, announced Bigg Boss OTT 3 on their official Instagram account. They posted a poster featuring Salman pointing towards the audience with the caption, “Who do you want to see in Bigg Boss OTT.” However, the post was later deleted, leading to speculation among netizens about whether Bigg Boss OTT 3 was cancelled due to security concerns surrounding Salman Khan.

Gunfire erupted outside Khan’s Galaxy Apartments in the Bandra area of Mumbai on April 14. Subsequently, the Mumbai Crime Branch apprehended two suspects from Bhuj, Gujarat, and transported them to Mumbai. The individuals in custody have been named as Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal. According to reliable sources within the Mumbai Police, the assault was orchestrated by Lawrence’s gang, with Rohit Godara, affiliated with the Bishnoi gang in Rajasthan, identified as the perpetrator.

Salman Khan's security has been bolstered with significant additions. Formerly, he had two Personal Security Officers (PSOs). Now, he is accompanied by two commandos, two escort vehicles, and 11 police officers under the Y+ category security. Furthermore, individuals within the security convoy will carry two automatic firearms.

Salman Khan has yet to comment on the firing incident. However, Salim Khan, his father, spoke to India Today previously, stating, “What’s there to talk about ye jaahil log jo kehte hain maar denge tab pata lagega na (These illiterate people say you’ll learn your lesson when we’ll kill you). We’ve been given extra police protection. They’ve (Mumbai Police) assured protection for us and our friends. If they’ve arrested two people today, that means they’re on it.”
