Hrithik Roshan's Krrish 4 Shoot Confirmed For 2025 Kickoff, Check Full Details

Hrithik Roshan 's portrayal in the Krrish series has elevated it to one of Bollywood's most triumphant franchises. The announcement of Krrish 4 in 2021 through a video shared by the actor left fans buzzing with anticipation. However, updates on the project have been scant since then. Nonetheless, a recent report hints at progress, indicating that filming may commence next year.

A report from Midday suggests that Hrithik Roshan, alongside his filmmaker father Rakesh Roshan , intends to conceptualize the project during the upcoming summer.

A source familiar with the matter disclosed to the portal that despite Hrithik's ongoing commitments, particularly to War 2 , he will actively participate in brainstorming sessions with his father and their team of writers. The project, reportedly, is at an advanced stage, with intensive discussions planned throughout the summer.

“Hrithik has scheduled brainstorming sessions throughout the summer. Both Rakesh and he want to deliver a story that will exceed expectations,” revealed the source. Additionally, the report indicates that the aim is to finalize the basic idea this year, paving the way for filming in 2025.

The Krrish franchise commenced with the 2003 film ‘Koi Mil Gaya,’ starring Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta . Subsequently, ‘Krrish,’ featuring Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra, graced the screens in 2006. The third installment, ‘Krrish 3,’ starring Hrithik alongside Kangana Ranaut , hit theaters in 2013.

In an interview with India Today last year, Rakesh Roshan expressed his aspirations for Krrish 4, highlighting its potential as the pinnacle of the franchise. However, he also voiced concerns regarding the prevailing industry conditions.

“What is happening is that the audience is still not coming back to the theatres, so that is a big question mark for me. Krrish is going to be a big film. The world has become smaller and kids today are used to seeing Hollywood superhero films that are made on budgets of like 500-600 million dollars. Meanwhile, we have a small budget of Rs 200-300 crore in comparison.” he remarked.
