PICS: Orry's Train Trip To Kodaikanal Ignites Internet Buzz: Indian Railways Under Scrutiny?

In a surprising deviation from his typically luxurious travel habits, social media personality Orry, also known as Orhan Awatramani, recently boarded a train to Kodaikanal, causing quite a stir online. Known for his opulent lifestyle, Orry has often showcased his penchant for lavish accessories ranging from designer mobile phone covers to high-end clothing and travel items.
Yet, this time, the self-proclaimed “I live, I am a liver” ambassador opted for a markedly less extravagant mode of transportation.

Dressed in his signature ‘I am a Liver’ t-shirt, vibrant in sap green, and donning a blue cap, Orry's presence at the train station was an unexpected sight for many. His journey was documented with several photos shared on social media, capturing him amidst the ordinary setting of a train’s interior, a stark contrast to his usual glamorous backdrop.

The internet reaction was swift and humorous, with users on platforms such as ‘X’ quickly generating a wave of memes and comments. Many suggested that Orry's train adventure might be an effort by Indian Railways to polish its public image. Comments ranged from sarcastic quips such as “Not this damage control by railway ministry smh” to playful jokes like "Just thinking about the amount of sanitizer used in this picture.” Others teased, urging Orry to “visit general compartment,” highlighting the difference between his usual plush settings and the more cramped conditions of regular train travel.

Speculation also arose concerning the authenticity of the event, with some doubting it was anything more than a staged publicity stunt. Skeptical voices added to the online chorus, suggesting the scene of an unusually empty train carriage was too good to be true. “A non crowded 3AC. This is not real.” and “Nice .. trains are empty in the yard. Good to know.” were among the comments that questioned the scenario, with another adding, “That cheque must be big for him to travel 10 hours in it.”

Orry’s unusual choice of travel has captured the public's imagination, serving as a reminder of how social media can blur the lines between everyday reality and celebrity lifestyle showcases.
