Rakhi Sawant Facing Possible Arrest as SC Denies Bail Plea, Urges Surrender, Says Adil Khan
The ongoing legal feud between Rakhi Sawant and her ex-husband Adil Khan Durrani has persisted for quite some time. Recently, Adil posted a video on his Instagram stories claiming that Rakhi's situation has worsened. He stated that the Supreme Court had denied Rakhi's bail plea and instructed her to surrender to the Mumbai court within four weeks.
Allegedly, the apex court informed Rakhi that her bail plea would only be considered after she surrenders. Currently, the former Bigg Boss contestant is in Dubai.
“Iska matlab simple form mien bata du ki apko jail jana padega uske baad bail milegi (In simple words, she has to go to jail first, only then she will get the bail),” Adil explained and expressing his complete trust in the Indian judicial system.
In March of this year, Adil Khan Durrani alleged that Rakhi had been residing in Dubai for the past four months. Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, he asserted that he had lodged several FIRs against Rakhi and asserted that she would face arrest upon her return to India.

“Bahut saari FIR file ki hai maine Rakhi ke against. (I have filed a lot of FIRs against Rakhi). Why she is in Dubai you know? Because uske upar jo humne case kiya hai uski wajah se usko bail nahi mil rahi hai. She is absconding from India from last 4.5 months. That is why she is in Dubai,” Adil said.
“If she comes to India, she will be behind the bars in next 2 hours. She is not able to get a bail as magistrate, 67 A ka FIR jo humne kiya hai magistrate, sessions and hight court have rejected her plea. She has even applied for bail in supreme court but her application has not put up yet,” he added.
Adil Khan Durrani was formerly wedded to Rakhi Sawant. However, their union dissolved last year following accusations from the Bigg Boss celebrity, who alleged his involvement in extramarital affairs. Adil was subsequently apprehended from Rakhi's abode on February 7, 2023, and detained for five months. He has since tied the knot with Somi Khan, known for her appearance on Bigg Boss 12.
