2024 Lok Sabha Elections Phase 3: Know About The Voting Date, Seats and Constituencies

Marking the conclusion of the initial two phases of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections , the Indian electorate eagerly anticipates the forthcoming third phase. In the inaugural phase on April 19, polling stations buzzed with activity across 102 constituencies. Subsequently, on April 26, citizens exercised their democratic rights in 89 constituencies.


Reflecting on the participation levels, the Election Commission disclosed a noteworthy 62% voter turnout during the inaugural phase and a provisional 60.96% during the subsequent phase.

As the electoral saga progresses, the third phase, slated for May 7, emerges as the next pivotal juncture. A total of 1,351 candidates are poised to engage in the democratic fray during this phase.

On the upcoming polling date, May 7, citizens will cast their votes across 94 Lok Sabha seats spanning 12 states and Union Territories. Notably, all 26 seats in Gujarat will be up for grabs on this consequential day.

The constituencies slated for elections in the third phase encompass a diverse array of regions, including:

  • Assam (4 seats): Dhubri, Kokrajhar, Barpeta, Gauhati
  • Bihar (5 seats): Jhanjharpur, Supaul, Araria, Madhepura, Khagaria
  • Chhattisgarh (7 seats): Sarguja, Raigarh, Janjgir-Champa, Korba, Bilaspur, Durg, Raipur
  • Goa (2 seats): North Goa, South Goa
  • Gujarat (26 seats): Kachchh, Banaskantha, Patan, Mahesana, Sabarkantha, Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad East, Ahmedabad West, Surendranagar, Rajkot, Porbandar, Jamnagar, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Anand, Kheda, Panchmahal, Dahod, Vadodara, Chhota Udaipur, Bharuch, Bardoli, Surat, Navsari, Valsad
  • Karnataka (14 seats): Chikkodi, Belgaum, Bagalkot, Bijapur, Gulbarga, Raichur, Bidar, Koppal, Bellary, Haveri, Dharwad, Uttara Kannada, Davangere, Shimoga
  • Madhya Pradesh (8 seats): Bhind, Bhopal, Guna, Gwalior, Morena, Rajgarh, Sagar, Vidisha
