As the electoral wheel keeps turning, the second phase of the Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh gears up for action on April 26th, featuring eight constituencies. These battlegrounds include Amroha, Meerut, Mathura, Baghpat, Aligarh, Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddh Nagar, and Bulandshahar.

In Amroha, Meerut, Baghpat, and Gautam Buddh Nagar, a three-sided tussle is expected between the ruling NDA coalition, the Opposition INDIA alliance, and the Bahujan Samaj Party.

Meanwhile, Mathura and Ghaziabad brace for a head-to-head clash between the BJP and Congress , while in Aligarh and Bulandshahar, it's a showdown between the BJP and the Samajwadi Party led by Akhilesh Yadav.

These included Pilibhit, Saharanpur, Kairana, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Nagina, Moradabad, and Rampur. By 7 pm on April 19th, the voter turnout for this phase stood at 58.49 percent in the state.
