No dengue death in Bihar: Health department

PATNA: The state health department on Thursday claimed that none has so far died due to dengue in the state.

Health department principal secretary Sanjay Kumar issued a rebuttal letter on Thursday, stating that media reports of death of some people due to dengue were incorrect.

The private hospital had on Wednesday confirmed death of Lochan due to dengue.

Another senior health department official said information was being collected from different hospital and it would take around a week to confirm whether they died due to dengue or other reasons.
