As many 522 students were not able to get the scholarship due to recent failed transaction for 2017-18 and 2018-19.

All 522 students belonged to the SC category. This time too, a majority of the students were from Jammu, Kathua, Samba and Udhampur districts.

The strength of SC students eligible for the scholarship from Rajouri, Poonch, Reasi, Kishtwar, Doda and Ramban distrivts is not very high.
