Noida factory catches fire, security guard dies

New Delhi: A terrible fire broke out in a factory in Noida Sector-63 adjoining Delhi at around 2 pm last night, in which the security guard present there died by burning. As soon as the incident was known, fire brigade reached the spot and controlled the fire but could not save the security guard. According to the information received from the police, a fire broke out in a ball pen making factory located in Sector-63 of Noida Police Station Phase-3 at 2 pm on Sunday.

As soon as the fire was reported, 13 vehicles of the fire department reached the spot and after nearly 3 hours of effort, the fire was controlled. The security guard posted there died in the accident.

Chief Fire Officer, Arun Kumar Singh has said that there is a factory to manufacture ball pens under the name of HM Twist Containers Private Limited in H-90, Sector 63 of the Station Phase-3 area. After which he also said that there was a fire in the factory late at 2 pm on Sunday. The fire started spreading on the 3rd floor of the building. He said that in this accident, guard Sandeep Kumar (23 years old) son Rakesh Kumar, resident of village Safipur police station, Jagtapur district Bahraich died due to fire. The police have taken the dead body and sent it for postmortem and the cause of the fire is being ascertained.

Singh has informed that the team of forensic department has reached the spot. After getting information about the fire, top officials of district administration and police also came to the spot. Fire officials and police officials are also investigating whether fire extinguishers were working at the time of the accident.
