Odd semester exam of 228 courses to be held in Nov

Indore: Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya ( DAVV ) prepares to conduct odd semester examinations of 228 courses in mid-week of November .

Notification for the examinations will be put up in first week of November. “Now when system has come on track, we plan to conduct odd semester examinations on time. We would also conduct examinations for traditional courses first, third and fifth semesters students, who have been allowed to keep term (ATKT).

The examination for ATKT students of first and third semester PG courses too would be conducted in November,” exam controller Dr Ashesh Tiwari told TOI.

Examination of yearly courses would be held in the month of February, he added.

Over 1 lakh professional and traditional courses students will appear for examinations starting from next month. Of them, around 50,000 students are of traditional courses.

The varsity is in dilemma about result of Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) at present. Though DAVV had conducted the examination of final year BPT students, it now wants Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University Jabalpur, to declare the results.

“As all other medical courses have already been transferred to medical university in Jabalpur, we have planned to give it marks so that it can declare the results of BPT,” said Tiwari.

Around 200 students had appeared for the BPT examination that was conducted in September.
