OJEE 2020: New exam centres opened in & outside Odisha, exam centre change window opened on ojee.nic.in

Odisha Joint Entrance Examination OJEE 2020 authorities have decided to open new exam centers in and outside Odisha for the examination. A total of 6 new exam centers have been opened in Odisha state and 3 new exam centers outside Odisha along with the existing places for online exam centers.

The authorities have also opened the window for change in the exam center on August 13.

Students can now make the changes through ojee.nic.in. The window will remain open till August 16, 2020, till 11.59 pm.

As per the official notice, the new exam centers opened outside Odisha are in Patna, Ranchi, and Kolkata and inside Odisha is Balangir, Paralakhemundi, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Nayagarh, and Phulbani.

While speaking to TOI, OJEE Chairman SK Chand said, “No OJEE exam centers were opened outside the state since 2014.”

The Joint Entrance Examination Cell Odisha will be conducting the special entrance examination for BTech admission this time. On clearing this entrance exam the candidates would be eligible for admission in state government or private colleges in the state.

The exam dates have not been released yet. Earlier the exam was scheduled to be conducted from May 2 to 5, 2020 for different courses, which was then cancelled due to the increase of the COVID19 cases. For more related details candidates can visit the official site of OJEE.
