Over 150 to be booked for being absent on poll duty in Farrukhabad

AGRA: Nearly 150 staff members assigned for election duty will be booked as they were allegedly found absent during a meeting that was held by the district administration, in which 1500 men and women were bring briefed about Monday’s fourth phase of polling.


Monika Rani, district magistrate of Farrukhabad, who was heading the meeting told media, “Around 150 staff were absent for polling duty.

They will all be booked and a written complaint will be given to the local police.”

Meanwhile, Rahul Srivasatav, SHO of Farrukhabad, said, “We will file an FIR after getting a written complaint of the district administration.”
