Over 25 cattle killed as truck overturns in Odisha's Balasore

Balasore: More than 25 cattle died after a truck in which they were being carried overturned on NH-60 near Alalpur under Jaleswar police limits in Odisha’s Balasore district today.

The cattle were being illegally transported in the truck to West Bengal, reports said.

The vehicle skidded off the road and turned turtle killing over 25 cattle on the spot and injuring 35 others.

The driver and helper of the truck fled the spot after the accident.

Jaleswar police have started investigation into the incident.
