Pained by accident in Kozhikode - PM tweets about Dubai-Kozikode plane crash





Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the plane crash on Friday in Kozhikode, Kerala.  Prime Minister Modi said in his tweet, "I am suffering from the plane crash in Kozhikode.
My condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the plane crash. I wish the injured to recover as soon as possible. Kerala Chief Minister P. P  Talked to Vijayan. Officers are present on the spot and are giving all necessary help to the affected people. "

 The aircraft carrying passengers from Dubai crashed during landing at Kozhikode International Airport.  The aircraft had 190 people, including cabin crew.  According to the Director General of Police of Kerala (DGP), 11 people including a pilot have died in a plane crash and 4 people are still stranded in the aircraft.

Kerala Chief Minister P Vijayan said in a tweet, "In view of the plane crash at Kozhikode International Airport, the police and the fire force have been instructed to take immediate steps. Also instructed officials to make necessary arrangements for rescue and medical aid."
Chief Minister Vijayan has released helpline numbers for information about passengers in the aircraft.
