Pakistan violates ceasefire along LoC in J&K's Rajouri

JAMMU: Pakistan on Wednesday violated ceasefire with unprovoked firing along the Line of Control ( LoC ) in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir . This is the second ceasefire violation in the last 24 hours after Pakistan made a breach of truce in Poonch district on Tuesday.


"At about 7am, Pakistani troops initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing of small arms and intense shelling with mortars in Keri sector of Rajouri district," a defence spokesperson said.

"No injury or damage has been reported so far," he added.

In a similar breach of truce on November 8, an Army jawan was killed in Poonch district.
