Pakistani intruder shot dead along International Border in Samba
JAMMU: A 60-year-old Pakistani intruder, who crossed into the Indian territory along the International Border in Ramgarh sector of Samba in Jammu and Kashmir, was shot dead by Border Security Force personnel around 3am on Monday.
“Alert troops noticed some movement along the International Border during night and gave a warning call to halt, but the movement continued.
The troops opened fire and shot the intruder after repeated calls to halt went unheeded,” sources said. The body is kept at S M Pur.
“Some Pakistani currency notes and candy were also recovered from his possession,” sources said.
