Panchkula: Cops bust sex racket in MDC, rescue nine women

PANCHKULA: Nine women and the owner of a saloon have been booked for being involved in flesh trade in the name of running a massage parlour at Mansa Devi Complex in Sector 5.


A team lead by station house officer of Mansa Devi Complex police station inspector Karambir Singh raided the place following a tip-off.



After receiving permission from deputy commissioner of police, ASI Rajesh Kumar, ASI Bijender Singh and head constable Jagpal Singh visited the parlour. "When we entered, we found the owner, Manga, a resident of Sector 29/B, Chandigarh. We were in civil dress as we wanted him to be comfortable and open up. He agreed to provide us girls. For this, he asked for Rs 1,500 per person. As he accepted the money, we arrested him. After raiding the place, we rescued nine women," the cops said.

After collecting sufficient evidence, we arrested the owner of the parlour under Section 3, 4 and 5 of the Immoral Trafficking Protection Act.
