Panchkula: Man fires at 2 neighbours over his wife

PANCHKULA: A person fired three bullets at his neighbour and his younger brother alleging them of having ‘wrong intentions’ on his wife, late on Saturday night. Jagpal, a resident of Raipur Rani village, alleged that he reached his home from Yamunanagar at 9.15pm and his neighbour Mahender Singh came outside his house.

He said Mahender started abusing him and his elder brother Dalbir Singh. When Jagpal asked the reason behind him using abusive language, Mahender alleged that Dalbir had ‘wrong intentions’ for his wife and that he would kill both of them for the same reason.

Later, he went inside his house and took out a countrymade pistol and fired a bullet at them, however, the two brothers hid behind the wall of their house. The accused then fired two more bullets, following which the two of them ran inside their house and locked it. The accused is under police custody. A case has been registered.
