“Pappu ki Pappi” Priyanka Gandhi; Union minister heat controversial comment

Sikandrabad: On Sunday, two days after stoking controversy over his comments at a gathering in Bulandshahr, Union Minister of State Culture and Tourism Mahesh Sharma sparked another row calling Congress general secretary of eastern Uttar Pradesh "Pappu ki Pappi". Sharma also attacked West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy suggesting that they were regional leaders who had no say in other states, while PM Modi was a national leader.

Howver, on Friday, Sharma had said that “if God cannot fulfil needs, how can a Member of Parliament”. Sharma had blamed God for the lack of employment, education and other basic amenities. This has come when BJP is facing heat over lack of employment charge by the opposition.
