Pep Guardiola and Man City staff celebrate title win as focus turns to FA Cup final

Pep Guardiola celebrated Manchester City's Premier League title success with his backroom staff on Wednesday night.

City were crowned champions on Sunday as they won 4-1 at Brighton , holding off a valiant charge from Liverpool .

Focus is now turning to the FA Cup final at Wembley on Saturday as City bid to become the first side to complete a domestic treble.

Ahead of the clash with Watford , Guardiola and his coaches enjoyed a Premier League title victory party.

The Man City boss was pictured leaving Tapeo & Wine Restaurant in Manchester city centre just before midnight.

Guardiola, who was named Manager of the Year this week, was joined by assistant coaches Mikel Arteta and Brian Kidd as well as the rest of his backroom staff for the dinner.

City's players returned to training on Tuesday ahead of the FA Cup final, with Guardiola's men overwhelming favourites at Wembley.

Oleksandr Zinchenko, who is expected to start, admits playing in the final is beyond his wildest dreams.

"It’s an unbelievable feeling to be honest. To play at that stadium, in the final and to go to fight for a title," he said.

"A final is always special, and we can’t wait for that. For me when I was younger, the cup was just as important as the Premier League. I don’t know how other players think about it but for me it’s like this.

"I would dream of playing at a high level, I didn’t realise that I would be here and getting ready for an FA Cup final. It’s a dream."

Meanwhile, City's potential Champions League ban has edged closer after UEFA referred their FFP case to the Club Financial Control Body adjudicatory chamber.

City stated they were "disappointed but regrettably not surprised" by the news in a statement.
