PM Modi in Ghaziabad on Friday, preparations in full swing for Modi's rally

GHAZIABAD: Prime minister Narender Modi on Friday will be here to inaugurate and lay foundation stone of multiple projects including Dilshad Garden to Shaheed Nagar New Bus Adda metro line and civil terminal at Hindon IAF base in Sikandarpur.


After inauguration of civil terminal he is expected to address a gathering at venue close by after which he will head to Shaheed Nagar New Bus Adda metro station.

He will take metro ride to Hindon river metro station before heading off to Delhi.

Elaborate preparation is underway for PM’s visit who will be accompanied by chief minister Yogi Adityanath , Ghaziabad MP Gen(retd) VK Singh and others.

“As per information we have got from administration prime minister is expected to land at Hindon IAF at around 3.30 pm after wrapping up public engagements in Varanasi and Kanpur” said a BJP functionary. “He will head straight to Shaheed Nagar New Bus Adda metro station where he will flag-off the Metro Rail from Shaheed Sthal Metro Station and will also take metro ride to next metro station that is Hindon river metro station before heading to civil terminal by road ” added the BJP functionary.

After inaugurating civil terminal at Hindon base he will address a rally close by in Sikandarpur village where elaborate arrangements are being made. From rally spot PM will lay foundation stone of Delhi - Ghaziabad - Meerut RRTS also unveil various development Projects for education, housing, drinking water, sanitation and sewerage management in Ghaziabad.

14 projects worth Rs 32,000 crores out of which eight will be inaugurated while Modi will lay foundation stone of remaining projects.

A massive pandal have been erected at Sikandarpur village where PM is scheduled to address a rally. The rally venue has the capacity to accommodate one lakh people and seating arrangements for 35,000 people have been made. A parking area in the vicinity of rally spot can accommodate 10,000 vehicles. A dais of 52m by 28m within 60m circumference have been made from where PM will address the rally.
