PM Modi's wife Jashodaben in Ajmer

Ajmer: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s wife Jashodaben was in Ajmer on Thursday as chief guest at a cultural programme in a school for visually challenged girls. She also went to Pushkar and offered prayers there.

Jashodaben also honoured the students of Ladli Ghar, a school run by the NGO visually disabled girls’ education society and said that she felt very good in the company of the girls.

Jashodaben appreciated the cultural programme prepared by the students.

She reached Ajmer on Wednesday afternoon and went over to her relatives in Palton Bazaar. Many gathered in Palton Bazaar when they came to know that she was in town.

Civil Lines police station helped escort her through the town. She was accompanied with her brother and avoided any political discussions. She also relished Rajasthani food there and on Wednesday late evening she went to Circuit House. On Thursday morning, she went to the school run by the NGO with her brother to attend the cultural programme.
