Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Yojana Kendra becomes blessing for tribals of Pratapgarh
Pratapgarh: Pratapgarh district of Rajasthan is a tribal dominated area. With the opening of the Prime Minister's Jan Aushadhi Centre, the burden of the poor tribal people has been reduced. The Jan Aushadhi Centre was launched near the district hospital in Pratapgarh one and a half years ago. With the opening of this drug centre, people started getting medicines at a lower price of 50 to 90 per cent.
Not only government hospitals, private medical slips are also valid here. Bp, sugar and heart problems patients, or anyone else are getting medicines here at a very low price. People say that they used to cost Rs 4000 to Rs 5,000 a month, but now the cost has come down from Rs 500 to Rs 700. This has reduced their economic burden.
He thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this. People say that there should be more publicity of the Prime Minister's Jan Aushadhi Centre so that more and more people can join it and take advantage of it. However, people complain that the centre did not get as much publicity as it should have. If everyone knows that such a facility is being provided by the Prime Minister to the public, the public can benefit a lot.
