Punjab: 2045 people gets infected with Corona in state so far, many people recover
A 60-year-old man died of corona in Amritsar, Punjab on Saturday, while his wife and two sons were found to be corona positive. A total of 16 new cases have been reported in the state in 24 hours. The number of casualties in the state has increased to 41 and the number of victims has increased to 2045.
If Corona spread in villages, then lockdown will not prevent infection
With the recovery of 23 people, the number of people recovering from corona in the state has also increased to 1870. According to the health department, one person died in Katra Dulo in Amritsar on Saturday, while 4 people have been found corona positive, including three relatives of the deceased.

3-3 people have been found positive in Jalandhar and Patiala, including three health workers. 1-1 people have been found corona positive in Ludhiana, Bathinda, Kapurthala, Pathankot, Gurdaspur and Muktsar. Meanwhile, 23 people who have recovered, include 10 from Jalandhar, 7 from Muktsar, 1-1 from Ropar and Fatehgarh Sahib and 4 from Faridkot. Samples of 63567 suspects have been taken in the state so far, out of which 57899 samples have been found negative. Investigation report of 3623 samples is awaited. 136 people are currently being treated in various hospitals of the state.
