Rachita Ram makes a divine detour to Dharmasthala

Except for her inner circle of friends, not many know that Rachita Ram is extremely religious, has a passion to learn mantras and also chant them through the day. Further, since the start of 2019, the actor has pledged to visit various temples across the country and has already visited two popular religious hubs in Kerala in January and February.

This March, it was Dharmasthala that called out to the actor. “And what a divine co-incidence it was that I suddenly got a day off from work for Shivaratri. I’ve been going there long before I joined the film industry and the temple has given me everything I’ve asked for,” Rachita shares. “In fact, right after you cross Sakleshpur , you start feeling a happy vibe and I believe it’s all because of Dharmasthala. I have a bunch of non-filmi friends who share a similar interest and they joined me on this trip,” adds Rachita. The actor, who is counted among the top names in the industry today, is of the belief that the upswing in her career is all because of her faith in a higher power.

“In a material and glamorous world like films, it becomes imperative to have a spiritual leaning, because it keeps you grounded,” concurs the actor. The day-long trip duly ended with a plate of Neer Dose and Kayi Chutney from a roadside joint on the way back to Bengaluru.
