Rahul Gandhi to take stock of the situation caused by floods in Wayanad

Kochi: Former Congress National President Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to visit Wayanad for a 4-day visit. His tour will begin on August 27. Floods in Wayanad, Kerala, have caused havoc. Rahul Gandhi to review relief and rehabilitation works after floods. Rahul Gandhi will spend two days in the districts of Wayanad.

He will also visit Kozhikode and Mallappuram.

Rahul Gandhi will land at Kannur Airport on 27th of this month and leave for Mananthawadi. On August 28, Rahul Gandhi will visit Wayanad. On 29th, Rahul will be at Nilambur and Vandur. On August 30, Rahul Gandhi will be on a visit to Tiruvambwadi. The floods caused by continuous rains have caused a lot of damage in Kerala. More than 120 people have died due to floods in the state so far and more than 2.87 lakh people have left their homes and taken shelter in more than 1654 relief camps.

Rahul Gandhi also reached his parliamentary constituency on August 12. He had visited the relief camps here. Rahul Gandhi had visited Mapadi in Nilambour in Mallappuram district, Tiruvambadi in Kozhikode district, Wayanad. He also participated in review meetings convened by district collectors of Mallappuram, Kozhikode and Wayanad.
