Rail route between Dalmau and Unnao closed, five trains cancelled

Lucknow: The rail route between Dalmau and Unnao in Uttar Pradesh will remain closed for about seven hours on Wednesday. Due to this, The Indian Railways has suspended 5 trains passing through this rail route on Wednesday. On the other hand, the route of a train passing through this route has been changed.

According to a senior Northern Railway official, the railway track between Dalmau to Unnao has been closed for seven hours for the repairing of the railway track. He said the rail route will be closed at around 6 a.m. On Wednesday morning. After which, all train operations will remain suspended by 1 PM.  He said, about five trains have been cancelled by the Northern Railway due to the closure of railway line. The cancelled trains include Prayag-Kanpur-Prayag Intercity Express, Rae Bareli-Unchahar-Kanpur Passenger Train, Kanpur-Unchahar-Raebareli Passenger Train, Rae Bareli-Kanpur Passenger Train, Kanpur-Raebareli Passenger Train.

He said, due to the closure of this route, the route of the Unchahar Express train from Chandigarh to Prayagraj via Delhi has been diverted. On Wednesday, the train will reach Unchahar via  Kanpur, Lucknow and Rae Bareli.
