Rains lash parts of Himachal

Shimla, Oct 4  Parts of Himachal Pradesh received light to moderate rainfall in the last 24 hours, the meteorological department said on Friday
Jogindernagar received 29 mm of rains, followed by Baijnath (24 mm), Chamba (19 mm), Kalpa (13 mm), Pandoh (10 mm), Manali (9 mm), Gaggal (8 mm), Bhuntar and Saloni (7 mm each), Sujanpur Tihra (6 mm), Kufri (4 mm), Solan and Theog (3 mm each), Shimla and Palampur (2 mm each) from 5.30 pm on Thursday to 5.30 pm on Friday, Shimla MeT centre director Manmohan Singh said.
