Rainstorms to hit Raigad and Thane: Meteorological Department

Mumbai: Rain is wreaking havoc in MumbaiAccording to the Met department, heavy rain may occur in Raigad and Thane on Wednesday. Due to incessant rains, the water has been inundated. Rail and road traffic has been badly affected, which has added to the woes of Mumbaikars.

Most of the lower areas of the metropolis were flooded on Sunday when Mumbaikars woke up due to heavy rains in Mumbai. The same was true of Thane, Palghar, Kalyan, Nashik, Raigad and Pune.

In Mayanagari Mumbai, an average of 150 millimeters of rainfall has been recorded in Thane-Palghar with 200 mm of rainfall. The vehicle is still reported to have been hit by the sky. The water logging on the tracks has disrupted the local as well as main train services. Wangni, where the Mahalakshmi Express was stuck overnight a few days ago, has washed away the soil under the central railway tracks at the same place. Mumbai's solution has been in a state of disrepair for several days. The Trimbakeshwar temple in Nashik has been flooded. This has caused a lot of hardship to the devotees here.
