Rajasthan class X girl alleges abduction, gang-rape in Rewari

Jaipur: A Class X student was allegedly abducted and gang-raped for three days in Sikar . The minor girl was abducted while returning from school on August 21 and raped by the accused who are yet to be arrested. Her statement under CrPC Section 164 was recorded on Wednesday.

The 17-year-old complainant claimed that she was kidnapped and taken to Rewari where she was raped by the main accused and his friends.

On August 24, she said that she was dropped off at Rewari railway station from where she made her way back home. The girl is from Srimadhopur in Sikar district.

Balram Meena, circle officer, Reengus police district told TOI, “The girl claimed that she got into the car of one the accused since she was acquainted with him following which he took her and along with his friends, took turns to rape her.”

The girl’s medical examination was also done after the complaint was registered though the cops are finding it difficult to corroborate her allegations.

“We are verifying the girl’s statement because she has been changing it and also said that she does not know the location where she was taken or held captive. We also checked the spot from where she was allegedly abducted but there are no witnesses to the incident.
