Rajasthan: Corona continues to wreak havoc, 422 new positive patients reported

422 new positive cases of epidemic corona have been reported in Rajasthan. Out of this, 164 new cases were registered from Alwar. The number of active cases has reached 13 thousand 469 in the state.

According to the statistics of Rajasthan Health Department, the total number of positive cases has reached 49 thousand 418.

Out of this, 35 thousand 186 have recovered and gone to their residence, and 763 corona patients have died. By 10.30 am on Friday, 164 in Alwar, 44 in Sikar, 21 in Nagaur, 23 in Sirohi, 16 in Jhunjhunu, 49 in Jaipur, 6 in Kota, 4 in Jhalawar, 11 in Chittorgarh, 45 in Ajmer, 22 in Tonk, In Dungarpur, 11 and 6 BSF jawans have been found infected. 

Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot said, "In the cities where Corona positive cases are increasing, the district collector is required to impose lockdown, night curfew, as per need."

He told that after the opening of the lockdown, people are seen roaming freely on the streets, congestion of people is seen on shops and in markets. Also, cases have increased rapidly due to negligence during economic and social activities, transportation and another movement. The guidelines related to Corona is required to be strictly followed. On Monday, Gehlot reviewed the condition of the corona at the Chief Minister's residence.
