Rajkot: Angadia firm owner robbed of Rs 11 lakh

RAJKOT: An angadia firm owner was robbed of Rs 11 lakh by two unidentified robbers in Gandhidham town of Kutch district on Monday afternoon.

Police said the incident occurred in Gandhi Market, where Babulal Prajapati runs his own angadia firm.

“When Prajapati was at his office, two robbers barged in.

While one of them said he wanted to send a courier to Radhanpur in Patan district , the other flashed out a knife and hit Prajapati with the knife’s handle on his head. Then the robbers took out the cash from the drawer and fled away,” said an official from Gandhidham A division police station.
