Ranchi: Body of youth found

Ranchi, May 20 (UNI) Body of an youth was found from Dongri Pahadi under Pundag OP of the state capital today.

Upon receiving information, Ranchi City SP Sujata Veenapani and Hatia DSP Prabhat Ranjan reached on the spot. A dog squad was also called at the incident spot to look for clues.

Police said, an initial investigation reveals that there are wounds made of sharp edged weapon on the neck of the deceased.

It is suspected that the crime was executed in the night. The body was later sent for post-mortem to RIMS police said adding that the identity of the victim is yet to be ascertained.
