RLTP workers hold protest in Nagaur

JAIPUR: Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLTP) workers on Thursday held a protest march and handed over a memorandum for the governor to district collector at Nagaur on their demand.


In the memorandum, the party stated that the gang-rape of the Dalit woman took place on April 26, but the incident was kept under the carpet for weeks together neglecting rules and procedures.

But the police acted only after the matter had come to public knowledge and the culprits made the video of the incident viral. The government as a face saver shifted the SP and suspended the SHO, it said.
