RTC to operate additional buses

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KSRTC will operate additional interstate services to and from Bengaluru, in connection with Vishu and Easter holidays, from April 10 to 23.


A total of 18 buses will operate from Bengaluru to Kozhikode via Mananthavady -Kutta, to Thrissur via Palakkad-Salem, to Ernakulam via Palakkad-Salem, to Kottayam via Palakkad –Salem, to Kannur via Iritty-Muttannur and Iritty-Kutta, to Payyanur via Cherupuzha, to Sultan Bathery via Mysuru and to Thiruvananthapuram via Salem-Coimbatore-Nagercoil from April 10 to 13 and from April 17 to 20.



There will be 17 buses to Bengaluru from Kozhikode via Mananthavady-Kutta, Thrissur via Palakkad-Salem and Mananthavady-Kutta, Ernakulam via Palakkad-Salem and Mananthavady-Kutta, Kottayam via Palakkad-Salem and Mananthavady-Kutta, Kannur via Iritty- Koottupuzha, Payyanur via Cherupuzha and Thiruvananthapuram via Nagercoil-Coimbatore- Salem from April 13 to 16 and from April 20 to 23.

“These will be end-to-end services with flexi fare charges. KSRTC has also arranged buses at Bengaluru, which will be operated based on the rush of passengers. Additional buses are also being planned and the list will be released soon,” said a statement from executive director of operation, KSRTC.
