Shiv Sena attacks BJP over farmers suicide in Maharashtra

Mumbai: Shiv Sena has once again attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government through its mouthpiece Saamana. The Shiv Sena has written in the 'Samna' that the government is not able to meet the hopeful eyes of the farmers of Maharashtra on the central government. The government should not take the farmers' anger, but help them and save their lives.

Along with this, he has written that the government of President's rule has not yet declared a rainy famine, besides the assistance that the Governor has announced is so low that farmers have not got any kind of concessions from it. In the editorial of Saamana, Shiv Sena has written that 'First the famine, then the crisis of excess rainfall has made it difficult for the farmers of Maharashtra to live. Especially the suicide reports of farmers from Marathwada are disturbing to the mind.

Shiv Sena wrote that the chain of suicides has started in every district of Marathwada. Between October 14 and November 11, 68 farmers of Marathwada ended their lives. In Beed district, 16 farmers committed suicide in a month, 12 in Nanded district, 11 in Parbhani district, 9 in Sambhajinagar district, 7 in Latur, 6 in Jalna, 4 in Hingoli district and 3 in Dharshiv district.
