Simple Kaul on the struggle to survive in showbiz

Simple Kaul revealed that her journey to gain fame was not that easy. The diva shared that her parents were not allowing her to become an actress. However, Simple firmly informed her mom and dad about her decision to move to Mumbai to pursue her acting dreams.

When asked about the struggle in the initial days of her career, Simple Kaul said, “I am one of those few lucky people who easily got the role in shows like Kutumb and Kkusum. In Kutumb, I had no dialogue. That was very depressing. I was in full energy and I wanted to perform. But I didn’t get a chance to perform. After that, I got Shararat. I enjoyed playing Pam in Shararat. I learned a lot from my co-actors. I would say it was a struggle but a normal one. Jo log baahar se aate hain, unme kuch kar ke dikhane ki aag lagi hui rehti hai. Otherwise, they will have to go back.”

The Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actress said, “No, I was too overconfident. I can intimidate people. I don’t think someone has ever done that with me. I am not someone who’s scared of something. I am not insecure. I am someone who changes the route if I feel uncomfortable with something. I will probably confront that person if I feel he is trying to give a hint of something. I make sure people can’t talk to me like that. I don’t think the TV industry has such offenders. I have not seen it in the TV industry. The industry is very much women-oriented. My experience has been very good.
