Situation on LAC critical, Army and Airforce orders for high level vigilance

New Delhi: Indian Army and the Air Force will maintain extremely high level of operational readiness in all areas along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh, North Sikkim, Uttarakhand and Arunachal Pradesh. With this, a high level of vigilance will be taken until a 'satisfactory' solution is found regarding the border dispute with China.

Instructions have been issued by the People's Liberation Army (PLA) of China to observe high alertness in order to completely withdraw their troops from several deadlocked points in eastern Ladakh, including Pangons So, Depsang and Gogra.
