Sought for locust-hit farmers of Hisar, Bhiwani and Sirsa: Rs 50K per acre relief

 

The Kisan Sabha has requested a remuneration of Rs 50,000 for every section of land for the influenced ranchers whose harvests were eaten up by the grasshoppers during the ongoing assault in certain towns of Hisar, Bhiwani and Sirsa areas.

The Kisan Sabha activists affirmed that the deceptive splash and pesticides had neglected to control the beetles.

They said the ranchers in Gorchi, Gavar, Panihar, Bheria, Chirod, Kalwas, Sarsana, Basra and Chodhariwas were influenced as the multitudes of grasshopper had harmed their kharif crops during the ongoing assault. Sabha pioneers Shamsher Nambardar and Sube Singh Boora said ranchers must be remunerated to the tune of Rs 50,000 for each section of land for the harvest misfortune because of the beetle assault.

They affirmed that the showering done by farm hauler mounted pumpsets and fire detachment had little impact on the insects.
