Special monitoring will be done in public places in Haridwar on occasion of Bhoomi Pujan
Dehradun: Police is on alert throughout the city due to the Bhoomi Poojan program of Ram temple in Ayodhya. Police have special supervision over mixed population and public areas. SASP has directed of action against those who celebrate in public. On the other hand, on the eve of Bhoomi Poojan, a checking expedition was started at Harki Paidi with bomb disposal and dog squad.
The police station in-charge, along with the outpost in-charge of his place and the cheetah mobile are on a continuous tour in the area. He ordered that special focus should be placed in mixed populated areas. People can light diyas in their houses, but no one is allowed to celebrate in public. There should be social distancing at religious places. Strict action will be taken against those who ignore the rules. Tourism minister Satpal Maharaj is attending the Ram Mandir Bhoomi Pujan ceremony.
Mahara has reached Ayodhya on the invitation of Vishwa Hindu Parishad. Maharaj said in his statement, urns filled with Ganga and Yamuna water have already been transported to Ayodhya on behalf of the people of Uttarakhand and the Tourist Department.
