Suspended on HC direction: Jharsuguda collector

Bhubaneswar: Following the heading of Orissa High Court (HC), state government Wednesday suspended Jharsuguda Collector Jyoti Ranjan Pradhan for not holding fast to a past court request.

Along these lines, ADM Pradeep Sahu has been given extra charge as Jharsuguda Collector till further request.

General Administration office has issued a warning in such manner.

Tuesday, the court had guided the state government to suspend the authority for ridiculing its interval request regarding dropping of an alcohol shop’s permit. A seat including Chief Justice KS Jhaveri and Justice KR Mohapatra had given the request to Odisha government.

The following hearing in this association will be held August 27.
